The Membership Vice President
- develops a budget and submits it to the Board for approval
- recruits new members by providing AAUW brochures and membership forms at branch meetings
- follows up with prospective members
- forwards membership applications, dues, and information to the Finance Officer
- updates forms and brochures as needed
- schedules an Open House for potential new members in October or November
- stays abreast of special deals or discounts for new members
- contacts members who did not renew and encourages them to rejoin
- engages new members and prepare a brief article for Pressible
- maintains a current list of members and cross-references it with AAUW National official membership list

- participates in Membership Committee meetings and steps in when MVP is unavailable
- assists MVP in providing information about membership and completing new member forms. Â
- assists with events for new members
- assists in communication about new members to the membership
- assists in maintaining a supply of membership forms and AAUW brochures

The Program Vice PresidentÂ
- plans the monthly branch programs, including location, speaker, entertainer, and other significant amenities.Â
- by August, determines September--June monthly programs for inclusion in the Yearbook
- provides an announcement of the meeting for the Pressible each monthÂ
- obtains honoraria for each speaker from the Finance officerÂ
- sends or gives honoria and thank you notes to each speaker

Pressible Editor & Circulation
The Pressible Editor
- publishes the 4-8 page monthly newsletter for the months of August—June
- solicits material from officers and committee chairs by the 15th of each month
- uses Microsoft Publisher or Word for the newsletter and converts files to Adobe Acrobat format for email transmission
- sends draft of Pressible to President each month for review before publication
- works with the printer to create hard copies of the newsletter mailed to designated members
- mails hard copies to members without email
The Records Management Chair
- oversees digitization of branch archival materials, which are stored in the AAUW Google Drive
- maintains the order of hard copy archival materials
- reports to Board as needed on the maintenance of archival materials
Scholarship Committee Chair
The Scholarship Committee Chair
- finalizes Adella B. Woods Scholarship committee members early in January
- sends letters to targeted financial aid officers and faculty at local universities in the second week of January and sends follow-up emails in late February/early March
- works with Public Relations officer to advertise scholarships
- updates online application process with Webmaster
- distributes applications and rubric to committee members and convene a meeting to choose awardee(s) shortly after April 1 deadline
- notifies awardees via phone call and official letter
- works with Public Relations to secure publicity for awardees
- oversees presentation of the award at May meeting
Scholarships Fundraiser Chair
The Scholarships Fundraiser Chair
- plans, organizes, and executes the yearly fundraising event
- requests volunteers to be on the committee from the membership.
- organizes the volunteers and assigns specific responsibilities to subcommittees, which may include: identifying authors and getting their commitment to participate; conducting public relations and marketing; making arrangements for location; requesting and locating signed books by authors for auction; and organizing volunteers for the day of the event
The Study Groups Coordinator
- communicates with facilitators of study groups about meeting schedules, locations, and topics for inclusion in Erie Pressible
- encourages participation in existing study groups and the formation of new ones
- attends board and monthly membership meetings as well as new member receptions to encourage participation in study groups.
- shares study groups' general purposes and schedules with Yearbook Editor
- reports to the President of the Board regarding new and existing groups
