PoliTalk meets once a month to discuss domestic and international political topics of current importance as well as those that are long-standing in American life. Discourse is never contentious or partisan; typically it is a serendipitous tour of each participant's concerns and others' responses to them.  Recent topics include gerrymandering, the electoral college, and excerpts from Fiona Hill's book (There is Nothing for You Here). There is never a single "assigned" topic; participants suggest them and one topic leads to another.  Often it is an information sharing session, with viewpoints ranging from the libertarian to the progressive on the political spectrum . . . Meetings are on the third Thursday of each month, 2-4 p.m.
